Teriyaki chicken

  • First, put the slices of bread to soak in the milk.
  • Second, mash the breast with the food processor or a mixer (or ask the butcher to mash it himself).
  • Later, grate the cheese (or buy it grated).
  • Then, in a bowl, combine the breast with the bread, the salt, the cheese and mix well until all the ingredients are integrated.
  • With the help of a spoon, take portions of the dough and shape them into a cylinder (it can be done with a plastic bag with a small hole at the end, as if it were a pastry bag. The size of the hole will determine the thickness of the stick).
  • Beat the eggs and coat the sticks in flour, pass them through the egg and the breadcrumbs.
  • If you are not going to consume all of them, they can be refrigerated or frozen at this point.
  • When they are going to be consumed, fry them in plenty of very hot oil. They will be richer if you add a sauce for dipping.

Option 2: breaded chicken fingers

  • 400 g chicken breasts
  • 100 g of grated cheese
  • 120 g breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying

Process:

  • First, clean the chicken breasts, removing the fat well, and cut them into strips.
  • Then beat the eggs and place the breadcrumbs on a flat plate.
  • Later, salt and season the chicken to taste and sprinkle it with grated cheese.
  • Pass the chicken strips through the breadcrumbs, then through the beaten egg and again through the breadcrumbs.
  • Fry in plenty of oil over medium heat,  until golden brown on both sides and drain on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
